Hi my name is Luke and welcome to Protea Plumbing and Heating. I pride myself as a reliable gas engineer and plumber based in the Southend area, we cover Westcliff, Shoeburyness, Rayleigh, Eastwood, Benfleet and most of Essex. Protea Plumbing is proud to offer quality plumbing and gas related services, such as:

5 years ago I left a city job in finance and decided to start my own plumbing and heating company. I had already built up experiece by completing a plumbing qualification and undetaking lots of smaller plumbing jobs, building up first hand knowledge of the industry.
In 2022 I completed a domestic gas qualification and now am a proud member of the Gas Safe Register. This means if you have gas appliances such as a boiler, cooker, hob or gas fire I am here to help with servicing, repair or replacement of these appliances.

We always had a hot upstairs and a cold downstairs during winter months. Luke came and fitted thermostatic valves to our upstairs radiators to help alleviate the problem. Now we get even heating throughout the house!
He was on time, neat and tidy and did the job with little fuss or bother.
He also explained a couple of bits that we needed to know about.
All in all, a first class job. Luke is highly recommended by us!!
